Carolina Concha-Arriagada is an Assistant Professor of Economics and Education at Teachers College, Columbia University. Before joining Teachers College, she was a postdoctoral scholar at the Development Innovation Lab at the University of Chicago. Her research focuses on educational and social mobility and the design of policies that can improve students' well-being. In her work, she answers policy-relevant questions in developing countries using economic theory to inform her empirical analysis. She currently has projects in Chile, the Dominican Republic, and Perú.
